PerformanceIn June 2007 SWISH achieved the highest performance grading (Type 1 A Grading ), under the NSW Community Housing Performance Based Registration System, operated by the NSW Office of Community Housing (OCH). All Housing Associations who receive funding from the Office of Community Housing must be registered with OCH and are subject to Performance Based Registration System. This enables OCH to monitor and regulate the sector. Registered Housing Associations are assessed quarterly and annually against nine key performance indicators. Organisations are awarded an A, B or C Grade. Accreditation
SWISH undergoes voluntary Accreditation every three years. Accreditation assesses the quality of our policies, practices and processes. Housing providers are assessed against the seven National Community Housing Standards. These are:
SWISH achieved full three year accreditation in 2000, 2003 and is to be reaccredited in 2008. Industry Membership
SWISH is a member of the NSW Federation of Housing Associations. The Federation is the peak industry organisation of Housing Associations in NSW. SWISH is also a member of the Community Housing Federation of Australia |
