General Housing ProgramOur General Housing Program is open to applicants on very low and low incomes who must meet as a minimum, the Housing New South Wales Eligibility Criteria. To apply for our General Housing Program click here. Please print, complete and send the application form with all necessary documentation to PO Box 1835 Strawberry Hills 2012. If you have a medical or health condition which requires a specific location or type of housing, your doctor or heath care professional must complete Bridge Housing’s Medical/Health Assessment Form to support your claim. This form must accompany your housing application. Social Housing Subsidy ProgramThe 27 Social Housing Subsidy Program (SHSP) properties are located in a multi-unit block in Eveleigh and targeted to a mix of very low, low and moderate income households, who generally are on higher incomes than tenants in the Bridge Housing general housing program. Social Housing Subsidy Program Information To apply for the Social Housing Subsidy Program use the General Housing Program Application Forms Waverley Affordable Housing ProgramWaverley Affordable Housing Program (WAHP) is targeted to moderate income households who are in full or part time work and can afford to pay 75% of the median rent. To ensure the housing is affordable applicants must not pay more than 30% of their income. Waverley Council also requires that applicants must have a minimum of three years living in the Waverley LGA. You are also eligible if you currently live outside the Waverley LGA and can demonstrate that you have lived in the LGA for a total of five years (non-consecutive) over the past ten years.
